The Stickers Have Arrived (Well, Almost)
The Bad Times General Store is officially starting to look like a general store.
Our first five die-cut sticker designs are now available for presale and combo packages, with more benefit merch coming very soon. Like, like within the next couple days soon.
If you've been following along, you've probably already met Harley. She survived the house fire alongside Heather, being rescued with her from the second-storey of the house, and has since found herself as the unofficial mascot of this whole operation.
The stickers pull from the artwork we've been creating for the Heather Doherty Benefit: dogs, flowers, guitars, phoenixes and the slightly dark sense of humour that has somehow become part of putting this whole thing together.
They're 3-inch die-cut vinyl stickers, which means each one is cut around the shape of the artwork rather than arriving as a plain square or rectangle. Stick one on a notebook, water bottle, guitar case, laptop, toolbox, record crate or wherever else could use a little Bad Times General Store decoration.
More importantly, buying one helps the reason this store exists in the first place.
Bad Times General Store was created alongside the November 1st benefit for Heather, who lost her home and virtually everything inside it in a devastating fire. She was uninsured, and the costs of temporary housing, replacing essentials and dealing with the enormous cleanup have added up quickly. Proceeds from the shop are going toward helping Heather through that recovery.
And This Is Just the Beginning
The stickers are the first pieces we're putting up for presale, but they won't be the last.
We're currently working on T-shirts, totes, one-inch buttons and a few other things for the shop and the benefit itself. Some of those designs are still being prepared for production, and we're trying to make as much as possible locally, environmentally sound, and by women while keeping the costs low enough that the merch can actually raise money.
So: we're starting with stickers.
Five designs. Three inches. Die cut. Available for presale now.
Thanks for buying something weird and useful for a very good reason.
Good music. Bad times. Good people.
